CONTEMPORARY FRONT CONSTRUCTION WITH ARAMID JLB

Due to the new Aramid JLB and polyester ply construction the D213 GP Pro is able to control deformation under centrifigual forces that in turn provides excellent high speed and braking stability, predicatable cornering behaviour and improved braking efficiency.

MCB-0019-image.jpg

REAR COMPOUND DEVELOPMENT

Our fine tuned Heat Control Technology controls the tyre tempreture based on your needs, to provide you with wide operating windows and a consistent performance across a race stint.

MCB-0020-image.jpg

NEW FRONT AND REAR PROFILES

The new profiles provides you with a larger contact patch at all lean angles that will not only reduce steering effort and improve handling but provide you with increased grip and stability

MCB-0021-image.jpg

INNOVATIVE PATTERN DEVELOPMENT

The new pattern will ensure faster warm up times and optimised wear thanks to the tuned tread stiffness and enhanced groove angles.

Dunlop tyre technologies

We were the first to apply race tyre performance standards to street tyres. With engineers and designers across Europe, Japan and North America.

MULTI-TREAD (MT) TECHNOLOGY

Years of success in global Superbike, Endurance and GP championships have resulted in the development of a pioneering multi-compound, which is transferred to many of our current Sportmax track and road products. By mixing compounds, the same tyre can display different performance properties at maximum leaning angles than when upright during straight line speed.

MCT-0002-image.jpg

JOINTLESS BELT (JLB) CONSTRUCTION

All our radial street tyres are designed using a combination of Computer Aided Design (CAD) technology and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) as well as JointLess Belt (JLB) construction (either front or rear). JLB construction eliminates the belt overlaps resulting in smoother handling and a more stable contact patch with the road.

MCT-0003-image.jpg

NTEC

Dunlop’s ingenious NTEC pressure adjust system allows the rider to optimise the tyre by adjusting inflation pressure. For dry track days, deflating the tyre will deliver predictable and tenacious handling on the limit. Back on the road, re-inflating to the manufacturer’s recommended pressures will reward the rider with class-leading levels of grip and performance.

MCT-0004-image.jpg

JOINTLESS TREAD (JLT)

Jointless Tread (JLT) strip-winding technology allows multiple compounds to be precisely positioned on the tyre to achieve advantages in durability, wear resistance, grip from the tread centre to shoulder and high-speed tyre stability.

MCT-0005-image.jpg

CARCASS TENSION CONTROL SYSTEM (CTCS)

Carcass Tension Control System (CTCS) controls casing stress distribution, optimising the tension in different areas, resulting in more consistent and controlled line holding, straight-line traction and better feedback.

MCT-0008-image.jpg

HEAT CONTROL TECHNOLOGY (HCT)

Heat Control Technology (HCT) combines a long-lasting outer compound with a heat generating and performance-enhancing base layer for maximum durability as well as increased outright grip.

ALL RECOMMENDATIONS LISTED ON DUNLOP.EU REFER TO RACE TRACK USE ONLY. FOR ALL USE ON PUBLIC ROADS, REFER TO THE VEHICLE OWNER’S MANUAL PRESSURE RECOMMENDATIONS.
Setting pressures are a guide to achieve desired operating pressure. Running pressure should be measured immediately after entering the garage / pit area. Pressure gauges should be regularly checked for correct calibration. Indicated pressures are average values; ideal pressures may vary depending on motorcycle, racetrack, track and ambient temperature, bike set-up and riding style. Stable equilibrium running pressures are reached after approx 5~8 laps.
Dunlop sell top-level performance and that includes on-track advice: see your Dunlop Motorsport service crew at the track.
The use of tyre warmers is mandatory for professional dry weather racing tyres (KR, GP PRO) and highly recommended for track day tyres (GP RACER).
The use of tyre warmers is prohibited for road-biased tyres (eg. SportSmart Mk3) and wet racing tyres (KR wets). Warmers may be used with SportSmart TT, but are not needed thanks to their very short warm-up time.
